Hey guys.
Sorry, have not left the country or been abducted just had three really heavy travelling days (approx 10hours on a coach each day! Yuck!)
We have had so many adventures since our last blog i dont know where to start!
Right! So we had been in Airlie beach for four days (one night at sea!)
We arrived in airlie beach with a bump@ Literally. Our Oz experience bus driver...who is a nutter...decided to take us to spectate in his fav hobbie! Tumble dryer riding...like inside the dryer! How random. At the event on of the girls got on top of a dryer to watch and had her head cracked open by a ceiling fan! Dramatic stuff! Especially because i was in front of her and she fainted and me being super kirsty...caught her as she fell. Unfortunatly... she had cut her head open! so blood on my new t-shirt (compliment of holly!)She was okay but unfortunatly the blood stained!
So after that we went sailing the following day which was amazing but rough! Very scary! I thought i would be topping up a tan but unfortunatly i looked like a shipwrecked victim! Wet cold and sat on a boat in the pissin down rain! Fun! Joking aside it was fun...wet and fun. The islands were beautiful and the boat was an ex racing sail boat so it was full of excitment!
After that we have left to go to Kroombit! The compulsory stop on the OZ bus! The is a cattle/goat farm which was a real experience! Each of us learned how to crack a whip...breaking the sound barrier...and the evening was full of all types of other cool activities such a riding the mechanical bull! I decided to opt out of that as my whiplash from last year would not allow that! This morning we got up and went on a hike to the top of a big hill and learned to play the digereedo! Cool.
After we went to the goat rodeo where Holls shot a double barrell shot gun! We also showed those goats who were boss and we actually won the rodeo with the shortest time of only 18seconds! I was in charge of goat tipping...lee was hurder andf holls the fake brander...It was real fun! And lee got a cattle prod up his butt! Nice!
After a long day today we have now arrived at rainbow beach...ready for the frazer Island experience! Which is a real must do here on the east coast!
We are all having a cracking time! So much fun...but so expensive on this side of Oz as its so geared up for tourists!
Love and miss you all! Kirst and Lee xxx
