Noosa, an upmarket tourist destination. I only really came here as a break in my journey-and to go to the Australia Zoo-home to the famous Steve Irwin. Fraser Island, the biggest sand island in the world. I did the tour from Hervey Bay-a small beach town with nothing really going for it other than the Fraser tours. Went with two German girls I had met on the Whitsunday boat which made the trip a bit more memorable. Day one saw us meet the group; 6 Germans, 2 French, 1 Irish and me. So now to teh Whitsunday Islands, apparently there are 74 of them. I went on a catermeran (wings) to just a few; Hayman, Hook, Whitsunday and Langford. The two days were amzing. We had great weather-not much wind though, which meant the sails weren't up expect on the last day. Finally arived after a 10 hour bus journey-all very comfy though. Sandy was waiting for me which was a nice relief-and it was really nice to see her too.
