We stayed in a great little camp sight in Picton for the night (even had a heated swimming pool) and then on the advice of the owners headed off in the morning for Robin Hood Bay to try and catch some fish. Unfortunately for us the visability was terrible and we couldn't see anything. So we decided to drive staright through to Kaikoura and try our luck there.

As we were sitting out over looking the beach having lunch we were joined by some animlas. The only house that is in the bay has a horse and two tame wild pigs that they keep; free to wonder around whereever they want, including up to us to try and see if they could steal some of our lunch. After the dissapointment of the days fishing, it cheered us up to have a bit of animal entertainment.
