I awaken around 9:30 in the morning to drilling, vehicle noise and shouting from below. The town as come alive again. Seems like it was just a few hours ago that just a few late night drunks were walking around below. Now everyone is there. I take my pitiful shower with no pressure, pack up the few clothes I head out to breakfast. Breakfast was not bad and I enjoyed reliving my exhausting night spent in my room to anyone that would listen. After breakfast, Martin and I went to the desk to check on my new room. It was ready on the 4th floor. We grabbed my suitcase from the tomb I stayed in last night and the bellman took us to the new room. It has a balcony with lounge chairs, nice big bedroom, ocean view and no smells. Ah, perfect. The safe even worked. Now I can relax. Off to the beach.
With the room out of the way, I'm feeling pretty good. We grab towels and the family has secured an area for us, complete with palapas and lounge chairs. I sit for a while, fending off the vendors selling blankets, jewelry, massages, trinkets of all types and pleading their case from some disability they have. It's time to join everyone in the ocean. It's so warm. I freak everyone out by bringing out my waterproof camera saying I forget it was in my pocket. After an hour it's time to hit the showers and then the spa. Ahhh!! Just like the millionaires.
I return to my room to really shower and change and then back to the restaurant for drinking, eating and singing. Life is good when you have a good room. Martin and I confirm my bus for tomorrow to Guadalajara. All is good. It's a great time to type this too. My wifi is now working. Apparently, it doesn't reach to the dungeon I had before.
