Last weekend saw me at the Dubai Masters Ladies Golf. It was based at the Emirates club and the city provides a stunning back drop to the course.

It was the last professional outing for Annika Sorenstam so I felt I had to go and see this lady in action. I split my time between the lead groups and the Kiwi Lynette Brooky who made the cut but then faded on the last two days.

Natalie Vernacova lead after the first day and she is definitely the darling of the photographers as the big lenses were continually out after her. Its well run and the course has some good vantage points to watch 3 holes at the same time so as a reccie for the up and coming mens tournaments next year it was great.
