Zinnowitz is a very unusual place. Despite cold temperatures, quite literally 'Baltic', on the northern coast line of Germany it was full! (of German retired couples; what is it with us and German retirement holiday destinations!) Never the less a lovely town and the people were all very friendly.

We spent two days cycling, strolling on the beach, drinking coffe by the sea front, taking pictures of ducks, eating ice cream, very relaxing...in fact a little too relaxing, we were definately ready to join the real world but at least we now know there's a whole community of German travellers waiting to embrace us in our more mature years!
