Due to the problem we had with the first van, the lady at the Adelaide depot had kindly told us that we could have the van until 3pm instead of getting it back by 10am, so on Wednesday we left McLaren Vale and headed to Henley Beach which is 11km outside of Adelaide. The sun was shining and we had a nice walk along the beach and a picnic lunch. On Monday we headed to the Barossa Valley, via Kapunda and Grennock. An hour and a half later we were tasting wines at the Torbreck cellar door. We got to taste the full range including the beautiful Les Amis, 100% grenache, and the well known, Runrig, Shiraz.
