Hi everyone, sorry we haven't written in ages been very busy getting from one place to another! So we had a good time in Malaysia, we had some classy and some low moments!, for example one day we had sushi for lunch in the petronas towers the next day i cleaned my teeth over a bin! We spent our last day with a dutch guy in a theme park called sunway lagoon which turned out to be for kids lol was very random. The next day we got the train to singapore. When we arrived at singapore station there was no ATM so we had no money for a taxi or phone, and we didn't book ahead so we were homeless :-( lol We managed to find a really nice taxi man who took us to an ATM and then to a hostel we were planning on going to in little india. When we went to pay him and didn't have change he went into a shop bought bananas to get change then gave us the bananas lol Unfortunately the hostel was full as well as everywhere nearby, so he took us to the cheapest hotel he could find and managed to get us a cheaper rate, (we gave him a big tip). The hotel was cockroach crazy, they were everywhere we only stayed there two nights and managed to get into a hostel for one night and another dorm in another hostel another night. Little India was very very busy and alive all the time. We were staying near a man who made the best garlic nan in little india! We would order a fews nans to take back to the hostel and get a free mutton curry, the best nan I have ever had. We payed a visit to the raffles hotel and had a singapore sling in the long bar, then went for an afternoon tea in the bar and billards room which was very cool, we very surprised they let us in as we look pretty trampish! I had a massive curry stain on my only clean trousers and I think I smelt pretty bad too lol. We met up with Henry's Auntie Mel's friend shaun, glad to hear it gave you a good party auntie Mel! We also had a nice time meeting shaun, had a coffee, and he recommended what to go and see in singapore which was really nice, so on his advice we then went to the botanical gardens which was beautiful. On our final day we went to the singapore zoo which was so much fun, the otters were really funny, one kept backflipping over and over. Then in the evening we went for the night safari there, where ytou can take a car ride round and also get out and walk. Hen really liked the bats, and I really liked the mousedeer. To top the evening off we ate the singapore dish, curried crab which was delicious. We had literally a massive crab, will try and put photos on soon, you will all be jealous of this crab it was amazing! So then we caught a flight to Australia! Which is where I am now, and Henry is in New Zealand. I will carry this on with a Sydney blog... Happy Birthday for yesterday Florence! Hope you had a fun day, there is something in the post for you :-) lots of love Australian Abbey and New Zealander Hen
