Hi Everyone, thank you all so much for your blogs. we are missing you loads.
We arrived in Goa yesterday at 2.00pm we were met at the airport by a pickup and driven for an hour to our hotel/hostel which is beautiful. the room is lovely and the pool is nice. once we had settled in we took a walk down to the shops which were mostly closed because the season starts next month. wethen took a walk down to their famous beach which was the most shocking sight. it resembled a rubish tip. It was discusting. you could not sit on the sand as it was covered in rubish. we thought our beaches where bad, well this one takes the mick. as the tide was in it looked alot worse but when the tide is out there is somewhere clean to sit as the rubish has been swept away. there seems to be no waste disposal in India as everywhere we have been there has been rubish at the side of the road.
The people at our hotel are very friendly and have helped us alot. we feel quite safe here and are enjoying it so far. we have not yet been in the sun much as it has either been raining in Goa or been too hot. Dehli was very sunny whilst we were there but covered up well. we are drinking plenty of water and we have both experienced some type of illness (cold,dodgy belly.) already but are getting through it. we are going to chill out for the next 10 days ready for our beijing adventure. love you all so much.
