Odd Lovely Days of Danielle
Well...we got up early...made our way to the jewlery shop...made it happen...quite suprised..Congrats Mehgalana! I hope your mom doesnt hate me too much! Then it was time to make our way to the train station...found a nice man to help us on our way...he had a daughter that was traveling so he was very understanding..had to go down the unreal, ridiculous, scary, literally straight down, no slope, escalater...with a huge suite case....I am amazed with the poverty in Hungry evreyone is still so honest..its awesome...train tickets especially...Meg and I parted...it was so sad...I cried..and then we were on our own...again...I decided to make my way toward the Opera house which was awesome...but I didnt have time for a tour nor a performance...but I did find opera music floating about in the street...what i am really going to miss about traveling so much is the people that you quickly brush past...the little funny insidences and smiles and music and smells...and the characteristics...that only happen for a brief moment in time but last in my memory for a life time....but eventually not standing as strongly...I made my way to the train station...and waited...forever on the board to make way for my train....sigh...I decided to run across the street for fruit and a fast phone call...I got some fruit...and forgot I didnt have a lot of Hungarian money on me..and this sweet lady helped me out...it was nice...thank you...oh I forgot Barto I took a picture for you...every time I go into these amazing cathedrals..I cant help but think of you...thank you..
Phone call cut off no money...sorry about the other night mom...that phone took all my momey and told me I put nothing in there so like a freak I jump on the stool and was shaking it...luckily...no one saw me...
I rushed and got my bag...my train was leaving oh lets see 6 minutes...good job...always play the risk...made it to my train..and sat in the first available car...I was content and excited to see my family...I eventually had to move...to the car that was going to Zagreb...that was a hassle..especially..with the big suit case....I decided to leave it in a luggage area..bike storage place...good thinking right...and sat in my car...the ride was beautiful...it was hotter than anything....sitting was painful...but I was excited so nothing mattered...I just listened to my music and watched the scenery paint out before me...amazing really...and all while I was in complete bliss...I got a feeling to go check my bag...it was fine..just as I had thought...I had a funny little thought but didnt take it seriously...and that was the last time I had seen my suit case....the train split...no pun intended since the train was going to Split...I ran to the last car and opened the door...to nothing but tracks and the night air blowing in my face...I was devastated...my suit case was gone! I rushed to the train people and in Croatian and broken english and sobbs I tried to explain what happened...their response was :nichta:..but this lady tried to help me...and started crying because she saw me crying...but it didnt matter there was nothing she could do....I got to Zagreb..stressed but not like i thought I would be...medicine...CDs...clothes...gifts...books..school documents...shoes..things that are irreplaceble....momentos...all gone...I told the hostil people what happened...they tried to help me best they could...but there was not really anything anyone could do...my night in Zagreb was a restless night...I was only supposed to stay until Tuesday...and then onward to visiting my family but that ended up not happening...after kicking out the Irish boys...more phone calls were made...a sad phone call to my mom was made and many hours were spent trying to contact both embassys...nothing...then I met some cool people coming into the hostil but wasnt really in the mood...I spent a lot of time on the computer and a lot of time figuring out whether I was going to stay another night...it s little blurred because of my stress....but the queestion of the day was are you going to stay or not!
