We've been at Mick and Judys for 2 days now, JJ the dog and I became friends.
There is a river running through the city, on our first evening we went for a walk down that way and a bunch of people were just playing some sort of jazz music and dancing at the riverside .... Weird? I got them on video.
Gofers and Beavers are quite abundant down by the riverside...., except when we went to see them and there was none, although we did see a few pelicans.
We showed our photos to Mick and Judy and it seems that we have yet to see any Elk! All previous references to Elk in this blog were in fact a breed of Deer  and the 2 on the Highway we saw were a small breed of Antelope. 1 Bonus though, the Kodiak Bear we saw may well have been a young Grizzly
We've been out cycling a couple of times, today we stopped for a bite to eat in the park and this ended up being a hour and half snooze by the river. We were woken when locals tried to roll Dad back into the water? That's twice now, what is it with these people!!
I have asked all over and nobody has heard of my Canadian friend 'John' from Toronto (he's not a taxi driver)........Canada is bigger than I thought.
