A bit of a late start today, we wanted to use these couple of days to relax and this is a great place to do it. We are staying at the Scotland Highland Club, which is an old Abbey converted into apartments. We have a place on the fourth floor, and guess what, no lift, stairs all the way. Lets just say, no one would want to leave something behind when we go out.
This is a great apartment and facilities for the kids. Today we walked into the cute little village of Port Augusta to watch the loch in operation. I think if there was a lot of traffic it could take half the day to get through the 3 sections before moving on.
We grabbed some lunch, as it looked like we were going to see the first rain of our trip. We spent the afternoon playing games, the kids went for a swim in the indoor pool and played some table tennis. We went to restaurant on the water called The Boatshed, good meal, and a walk home. Not sure why but we are all really tired, I think all the late nights are starting to catch up with us.
Tomorrow we are going on a cruise of the Loch Ness.
