Great few days and got some good internet so get ready to be updated!!!
So Mount Cook gave us some great days but yesterday it was time to drive a round trip of 600kms thats like driving from london to plymouth and back again to pick up the Rexy!!!
Great drive and arrived at the aiport at just the right time to be met by the biggest grin on Rex I have ever seen!
Wolf pack up to full strength........
So another 300km back in the car, back to exactly where Woody and I left from that morning! Brutal but worth it as the drive earlier in the day was overshadowed by some seriously low lying cloud which put visibility to about 10ft in the mountains. So it was great to repeat the journey and see what can only be described as the west country on a larger grander scale.
We even let Rex drive - so the wrong idea!! Started to pull out of the garage and he uses his left to break - dashboard + my face = banter for a few hours!
So Lake Tekapo - see photos - a v special place and was made even better when I completed 'The Challange' - a massive 400g rump steak. It didnt stand a chance. Rex by this stage had that glazed look you get when you have down a red, a blue, and a black aftershock togethter (hino) or been travelling for 30hrs!!
So today we decided to TRAMP and it wasn't long till we were miles away from anyone and enjoying a beautiful sunny day, our 6th on the trot.
NZ really is stunning and we are honestly v lucky men being in such a rugby mad country and doing these amazing things!!
