So back in Bangkok I explored the chaotic streets and markets in China town sampling amazing street food on route! After possibly the best nights sleep even when surrounded by 5 snorring men (the joys of mixed dorm rooms!) I ventured onto Thailand's underground system which puts London's to shame! I was security checked which involved the guard saluting me and searching my bag before I was helped by 5 people all in official uniforms to buy my ticket and find the train! Didn't really need them as it was so well-designed but it was nice and easy! The train was then searched by police before we boarded it! Not sure that would work in London with the sheer number but hey! I sat in wonderful air conditioned luxury until we reached the mother of all markets...Bangkok weekend market! Wow...I went with the intention of looking round but the sheer ridiculous low prices tempted me! I managed to leave with a plastic bag full to the brim spending around 8 English pounds!
I have now joined my next tour group, there are already 3 little groups within the 16 members, the couple's, Germans and the English with an Aussie! We are heading out of Bangkok, off our overnight train and waiting for busses and ferries to take us to our first island destination! Sandy beaches, warm sea and hammocks await :)

Mum Goodness me, I want to go. Not sure I would be able to cope though, it sounds so lovely. Enjoy your last couple of weeks!
Calum Sounds amazing. I think London would come to a standstill if everyone was security checked every time you went into the underground though. Have a great time. Speak soon xx
