Following another boat journey we arrived at another paradise island, koh samui. Here our hotel was beautiful and had a rooftop pool with amazing views! This was an island with things to do as well so we hopped in a mini van and explored the sights, temples, Buddha statues, view points with views of cystral clear sea and white sand! We visited some rocks on the coast and also a waterfall....it was a good afternoon of activities only dampened slightly by the rain which turned the temple stairs into additional waterfalls which we waded through! After arriving back at our lovely hotel, we discovered an interesting feature of our room...a glass surround shower! Me and ellie (my lovely roommate from hull) took it in turns watching tv while the other showered! We enjoyed dinner that evening on the beach, it was a surreal but lovely thing to eat on the sand with the sea a few feet away :) we occasionally had the company of monkeys and iguanas held by crazy Thai men as a tourist attraction, they were desperate for us to hold them. Luckily no one in the group was interested and they soon left us in peace.
We then had a few very lovely cocktails by the beach! Our tour guide Molly was keen for us to watch the lady boy show so even though me and a few others had already seen one off we went...it was different and although I thought the one in Chiang mai was better this one had the crowd more involved with some people joining in for gangnam style! as we danced on the beach ith our cocktails we were treated to a fireshow and a crazy Thai man dancing with fire works!
When we woke the next day the sun was shining, no time to waste! We were by the pool on the roof early and stayed until checkout time when we hit the beach! Making the most of the Sun means I can say I have visited a paradise island! Also my tan wasn't completely washed away!
We enjoyed our last meal in Thailand, I started my trip with pad Thai a noodle dish, 2 months ago so I thought it was appropriate to finish with it! We have crossed into Malaysia and are going to explore penang! Let's see what this city has to offer!

omie en opa Hallo Becky, Maybe you get this comment 2 x. I told you that you make us jealous with your adventures and all that nice food. We just eat dutch bami (maar het was toch ook wel lekker). Nog maar een heerlijke week meisje en dan zijn we toch weer blij dat je weer thuis bent. Nog veel plezier.
