Headed off to Margret's for the local delicacy of custard tarts for breakfast. Located down a side street this place is difficult to find but as we had been for one a few days earlier we felt confident we could find it again without a map, turned out they must move the entire side street as it wasn't where it was, never mind eventually found it and rewarded ourselves with a box of 6. Sat on the makeshift tables outside and scoffed the lot as we watched people run past as it had started to rain.
Now sat by our pool soaking up the sunshine, the weather here is just like the UK if you don't like it wait an hour, mind you the temperatures are a rather more respectable 28 degrees.
Planning a night out at Hot Rod Cafe, a 1950's rockabilly bar which sounds fun. We learnt many years ago never to eat western food in Asia but when will we next have a chance to eat Chinese rockabilly? Turned out that the Rock and roll theme meant euro acid trance in a 50s style diner.
Ended up once again in the Cathedral Cafe. David has conducted an extensive survey and they have the cheapest wines on Macau.
Finished the night in The Sands casino, the house band is British and basically we are now groupies, when we left mid set we got a wave and a shout out, awkward!!!!!! They weren't very good but bless they tried. We think the reason the band think we are great is that the Chinese visitors don't applaud. We clapped a couple of their songs and were elevated to super fan status.
