Day 3 at the villa! Remember that show? It was stupid but with the amount of poms here I couldn't resist. We went to Typhoon Lagoon today, our first ever foray into a Disney World water park. So we can say that we did something new.
It was a fun day. Primarily it's a water park with various takes on water slides. Curvy, straight, slides with rubber things and without. Even one that went up as well as down. There is a big wave pool in the middle of the complex and circling the park is a slow moving creek of sorts where you slowly float around at a leisurely pace. We enjoyed the day and it made for a good change from the theme park routine you tend to hurt yourself into here.
Yesterday we went to Epcot which is featuring the international flower and garden festival. The park normally has very well kept gardens but with spring having sprung they are looking exceptionally, well, springy! A feature of the gardens is the many topiaries they make in shapes of various characters. These are very clever and I am glad that we got to see them. I love Epcot but at this time of year it was extra pleasant to visit. We spent most the day strolling around world showcase at a slow leisurely pace landing in the UK just in time for dinner at the Rose and Crown, which we enjoyed prior to setting up for illuminations, one of Disney's best night time show.
The previous day to this was at Hollywood Studios. This day was quite got and uncomfortable so we weren't doing too much. We had dinner reserved at the Sci Fi Dine cafe which is set out like a drive in and you literally sit in cars and eat dinner at a drive in. It's neato!
Tomorrow will be at Animal Kingdom. It is early entry for resort guests and we have lunch booked at Tusker House. Expedition Everest, Dinosour, and the safari are the priorities.

Colin If you get another chance at a water park go and spend the day at Blizzard Beach. Make sure you do summit plummet and you will think why did I do this! Loved the topiary of Pluto.
