Tonight I had dinner at Cool Hand Luke after seeing the play Forever Plaid! My sister Lacey has been working on it fora while, it was AMAZING.
Description: **SPOILERS**
*Based on a true story*
A singing group from the '60s, The Plaids, were killed in a car accident.
The play was about them (killed in 1964) then coming out as angels/ghosts/people for the play. They realized they'd been 'dead' for 50 years. Then they decided that the only way to be able to rest peacefully, they would have to do their whole show. So they sang songs, and they seemed to get better the whole time. By the last song, they were amazing and there was a monologue, and hugging, and saying goodbye to life and to their career that could've started if they had lived.
The thing is, they saved up for plaid jackets, so they could look like a real group, officially. They were on their way to get them on the night they were murdered. At the end of the play, they deserved the jackets, so I guess maybe God made them appear magically. They all put them on and were so proud. Then all of a sudden they had albums, like they were a real group, and an amazing success. They were the happiest they could ever be. Then they did the finally. After that the show ended and I'm pretty sure they went peacefully and happily to heaven.
It was an extremely amazing show and I loved it. I recommend it.
Any way! I'm gonna play Uno and Yahtzee now! Byeeee!!!
