Hey
Just a quick message to say that I have arrived safe and sound into the bustle of Bangkok.
I am staying just off Khao San road, which happens to be the busiest and most lively road full of street marquees selling sweet smelling yet unfamilar food. As I arrived so late last night (and over fed by the air lines) I took a wonder down the road when it started raining. Thai style. I took this as a push to take a well needed shower and feeling the urge to lie down I went back to my room and completly crashed. I awoke around 10.30 am here (I am 7 hours ahead so thats 3.30 am your time) so I think my sleep has helped me bypass any possible jet-lag. I have been to the tourism office today (on a Tuc-Tuc!) where I booked a trip for a couple of days time, and visited the golden mountain which was around the courner. Eating some food I met a fellow traveller, who unfortuatly is only in Bangkok for today but we are going to go for a tour of Wat Phra grand palace at three.
So thats all from me so far
stay posted
xx
