Yes I managed to upload you all some pictures!
So the past two days I have been busy being a tourist!
Monday- catching several different buses taking a boat and a cable car not getting lost I made my way to Tai O where there is a small market and stilt villages very interesting to see! I then went out on a boat to spot some pink dolphins which I did this was exciting! Although I'm quite sure they conned me out of HK$20 as i'm sure it was meant to go around the stilt villages to! However them not speaking English and me not speaking cantonese there was not alot I could do about it!
I then made my way to Ngong Ping where I climbed what felt like a million steps to see the GIANT buddah, it was huge! Next stop the Po lin monestry, I caught some monks singing and a crazy amount of incense being burnt and lots of people praying! The cable car was next and wow was it a good view, a nice chinese lady insisted on taking my picture for me as I was alone!
I then got back for a little nap and some puzzles with Henry and Arthur!
Tuesaday- was time to venture uop to the peak on the tram whichwas very fun and half scary as it stops on the way up to collect people and feels like your about to roll back! Another great view you can see in the photos! I attempted a circle walk then could not find any more signs and ended up walking down some mega steep hills! Until I had no idea where I was and it was time to hail a cab! The most expensive one so far at HK$70 equivilent to just under £7 transort is very cheap here and the other taxi's have only been £2.70! I got to Ocean park and made my way to the panda house to watch them eating bamboo! They had the most amazing collection of goldfish and a brilliant aquarium!
Over to Kowloon on the star ferry where I met Allie and Matt for some dinner and the real China bright lights and dodgy knockoffs! Was great to see though! My last evening with them- Thank you very much!
Today waiting to check into my hotel after 12pm and then I meet my tour at 6pm-fingers crossed for some good people!
I was so pleased to read my new trip notes to see the hotel has chamnged and I spend my first day on a 24hour train!
