Zoe and Ed's Travels
We have made our way down to Dunedin - we have been in New Zealand for around a week now. We have seen some beautiful scenery along the way: in particular on the Banks Peninsula and in and around Mount Cook National Park. Two days ago we stopped off at a place called Moeraki just north of Dunedin. There we saw the Moeraki boulders, almost perfectly spherical boulders on the beach some of which look like alien eggs. A short drive away from there we visited a penguin hide from where we were able to observe yellow-eyed penguins and seals on a small rocky beach.
We took it easy yesterday in Dunedin. Today we are doing the Speights brewery tour before heading off further south (that means that I (Ed) won't be sampling too much of the beer as I have "volunteered" to drive).
