Zoe and Ed's Travels
We have come to the end of our time in Malaysia. We have been here two weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed the places we have visited here. We have spent the last day and a half in Georgetown, Penang. The town has a few remnants of the British colonial era, as well as a vibrant Little India and a slightly quieter Chinatown. We had some pretty good Indian food last night. Today we got the funicular up Penang hill, for a view over the city (and nothing much else, as it turns out - we spent a long time queueing to get up and to get down but there's not an awful lot at the top!). We didn't bother going to the beaches on Penang as we knew that they couldn't compare to the Perhentian Islands.
Tomorrow we are getting a minibus to Krabi in Thailand, which sould take anything from 6 to 8 hours depending on who you beleive.
