Hello from Bangkok!
After we wrote you last we stayed one more night in Kanchanaburi. We love that place so much. We went on a day trip to Erawan falls, a set of 7 amazing waterfalls in a national park. It looked so beautiful we had to get in, but were slightly put off by the huge amounts of fish (some looked like sharks !aaaaaah!) nibbling at our toes. By the mid-day-heat we plucked the courage to get in.
We left for Bangkok 4 days ago, and since then we've just been stocking up on the essentials from boots, and gathering our fake clothing from Khao San Road. We havent really seen much of Bangkok because Zoe has been ill for most of it. Bad spring rolls left her in a bad state for the last few days. On the road to recovery now she has plenty of pills to pop. We have still managed to be annoyed by the terrible bangkok-traffic-jam, especially Sarah who felt she had to get off and walk when taking on Bangkok alone. We've also had a go on the boat-bus which was an enjoyable experience. Oh, and we have also begun our anti-malaria-tablet-advent-calendar, of which we are both extremely excited about.
Off to Cambodia tomorrow, though we're not very excited by the travelling we have to do to get there. It requires getting up at 4 in the morning and from people we've spoken to it sounds like a rather epic road-journey as there is not much road to speak of in Cambodia. So we shal write you when(if) we get there.
