A crazy fun day. Due to the screw up by STA travel, we only have 24 hrs to travel the Great Ocean Road. I'm told it should take at least a couple of days to see everything. But hey-ho: let's go. We fly from Adelaide to Melbourne to pick up a car. Thankfully, Avis bumped the car hire us two categories, from a Noddy Car, to a nice 2l Lancer with cruise control. Off to the coast today, to swim with wild doliphins. We head down to the harbour, and board a luxury catamaran, and it's not long before we spot a pod of dolphins, so in we go. It's quite an experience! They didn't come particularly close, but they did spend some time swimming around us, and seemed quite interested. They then got more interested in each other, and started bumping dolphin eglies. As the morning progressed, we saw more dolphins, but...

An easy day off. We headed to Adelaide Zoo to see animals. Including Pandas. They were cute.

Another hike up and hill/mountain called Dutchmen's Stern. A mountain that looks like the tern of an old dutch sailing ship I'm told. Following which, we head to Wilpena Pound, and hike up that for a look around. Strong winds, but great views. Afterwards, we pack up, and head off to Adelaide to finish the tour, and grab a few beers.

A great start to the day - my dare rolls around, and I have to air guitar to a some Wolf Mother in the back of the bus. Not something I normally shy away from, but not good with a hang over. Still, I managed it fairly well I think. We proceed to a aboriginal gallery, where the owner nurses injured kangaroos back to health, or raises abonded joeys.
