Now been in Australia for nearly 7 weeks and been in stanmore for over a month. Very settled in - the 14 other people that am living with are all very nice.

Hockey: been training with the premier squad (1sts and 2nds) for a month now. Really enjoying it, at present there are 31 of us and they will be dropping another 6 people this week. It is a very competitive squad and there are some really good players, so I could well be dropped to the 3rd team especially as there are lots of strikers.

Social: the hockey club is a really social one and we went to a house party last night and it was such a laugh. The boys are all classic and the girls so nice. Really got going on the nightlife as we have now found the cheap and fun places to go! Made lots of cool aussie friends.

Job: I quit the promotional job after the 1st day as it was so dull! Have got a job coaching netball and hockey in a school which will be fun. Also coaching one of the hockey clubs junior teams.

General: Still having a wicked time getting even better as we get to know more and more awesome people! Lots of home friends are passing through so have seen them.
