Today we went on our trip to James Bond Island. We were going to be stopping at a number of different places but James Bond Island (off Pangnan Island) was the main stop. It was a lovely day and we had lots of nice people, mostly Australians in our group, who were all very friendly. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the pier where we had booked a speed boat rather than the big boat which was slower. We went to a restaurant in the water for lunch first. We looked around the stalls first until we were called for our lunch. It was about eleven o'clock- early for lunch and we were put into groups to sit at the tables. Lunch was a mixture of things, fish, chips, rice, salad, sauces, it was nice. Then we got back on the ferry and headed to James Bond Island. It was so gorgeous, we didn't have very long there so we took some photos and had a swim. There is a huge rock in the middle of water which was what makes the island different and a cave which has a slanted wall. We then headed to another area to do canoeing. We were called into our canoe and had a local rowing us through all the different caves- it was amazing. Lastly we headed to a beautiful beach where we had two hours to relax and have a swim. It was so nice there and when we first got there we were the only boat load of people there until loads more arrived. I had my phone in a water proof case that you wear round your neck and it had worked up to now. It got a tiny bit of water in it and my phone stopped working which was rubbish but I'd had such a great time that I didn't let it ruin the day. When we got back and had showered we went for dinner back on the beach. Then we went for a walk and met two of Australian guys, one of which we had met on our trip. It was a fun night and we went to a few different bars on Bagla road. At one of the bars the bar man was performing- throwing all the bottles around and doing magic tricks like lighting the table alight. We headed back to our hotel at about four am after a brilliant day.
