As there is only 6 days left till I leave for Aussie, I'm sure you can understand the excitement/separation anxiety I'm currently the host of. I'm still in denial and when I think about the fact that at this point next week I won't be here anymore the thoughts I have are those of pure disbelief. and then I think of Evelina, who is leaving on Saturday and I can't say I'm jealous. I need to see more of the people I love before I go..
So what has happened the past week? Well I have been working at ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology). To read about my days as a working bee please visit my blog http://yvonz.blogspot.com :) Other than that I have tried to hang out with my friends and family as much as possible. Heading out to my dad's as we speak.
Oh, here's something you don't want to here a week before you're about to leave for college on the other side of the world: my student advisor at Griffith emailed my Swedish contact Lars and said that me and another girl hadn't enrolled yet. Wohooo. Great. That's something you want to hear after being in close contact with her a month ago WHILE I was enrolling in my classes. Geeez. Talk about scaring me half to death. I had to check I had clicked on all the right things but according to Jamie I wouldn't have been able to see my schedule unless I was successfully enrolled. So I wasn't fooling myself. Thank god.
Anyway. I was celebrating my birthday in advance with my mom and brother a couple of days ago and I love my presents!! Lots of good stuff for the trip :)
Speaking or trips, tomorrow I'm leaving for Gotland!! I'll write more from there - reporting about the last wknd's celebrations :)
