Backpacking in Europe
It's Mary's 36th anniversary and Chelsea's 21st birthday today! We planned a surprise for Mary and a cake for Chelsea and a very special dinner for both of them. I am so lack of sleep today! I only slept for 2 hours last night! Steve and I found a florist on the yellow page and looked it up on the map and went to get Mary some baby roses. Her husband gave Steve 40 dollars, while we were still in Seattle, to buy flowers for Mary because he can't be here to celebrate the anniversary with her. We all thought that's just the sweetest thing ever! He planned ahead and even though he couldn't be here, he still wanted her to have the best day of her life. We stopped by the bakery and bought her some heart shaped chocolate desserts and pink fruit tarts! We decorated the box to make it really nice. We then went to the institute to surprise her with a card, flowers, and the candies! She was very shocked. I am so glad that she's happy! I have always enjoyed our late night talks in the village. Mary has inspired me so much. After the seminar, we went home to cook for Chelsea and Mary. We made some Greek salad, pasta, garlic bread, and had watermelon, cake and ice cream!! It was such a great dinner. We invited Taso and Katie and went upstairs to the roof to have dinner. It's such a beautiful night. Taso was very amazed and kept saying "WOW!" We also had some red wine. Some of us stayed on the roof and chatted after dinner. Good bonding time!
