hey emma and phil,you guys completely suck for not putting up a journal entry. even I, who am travelling with you at the moment, am wondering what you're going to post next! sooo....i've decided to write an entry for you! sooo....emma and phil arrived in Australia on a gloomy cold day, and didn't see sunshine for at least 15 days!!! i reckon they bought the s*** weather with them, being poms and all. i mean, it was especially bad when the barmy army were around. i've never seen so many poms in the same place at once, but now that we've ditched the barmy army, the weather is getting better. emma and phil had a crazy australian christmas with 30 members of my rather strange family, including a christmas eve party. then there was a lot of cricket (so bloody boring), a quick trip to sydney for NYE where our accommodation disappeared and we ended up sleeping on a friend of my boyfriend's floor, and a flight across to perth in Western Australia to stay at a luxury mansion in a place called Dunsborough on the beach. it was very beautiful and emma got a lot of pleasure from ironing all of her clothes because it was the only place she's stayed with an iron. now we're at my auntie's normally 4 person house. at the moment there is also a family of 4 Norwegians (my auntie's husband's relations) staying here, as well as emma, phil, me, my boyfriend and my friend. we had a game of beach cricket all together today and have been bathing in my Auntie's 'Neighbours' style pool in the back garden. emma and phil think her house looks just like toadfish's from Neighbours. anyway, we're about to go out for drinks on the beach here and everyone's telling me to hurry up, so hope you enjoy this.
