Dear Travel Journal,
Yesterday was really the first day that my dad and mom began to show real interest in my trip to South Korea. I showed them my itinerary and we were talking about it for a little bit. I don't think they realized that I was actually going to be going!
I misplaced my passport and pretty much freaked out. My grandma told me not to carry it around in my purse so I took it out and lost it. I don't know who picked it up and moved it, but after tearing apart both of my rooms and the living room, I found it tucked in between some books on the book shelf. I'm so glad I found it!
I got a babysitting job that goes from June 26th to July 21st. I got the job for the sole purpose of earning some spending money for my trip but I am horrible with money. I calculated that by the time I finish babysitting, I would have around $600 but stupid me spent my first check on cell phone minutes, ddr and some other random things. Now I am already planning to use part of my second check too! I am already down $150 so now I am trying to figure out how to keep myself from spending anything else! If I get the one thing out of my second check and then leave the rest of my checks alone, I will have $360 to spend in Korea.
On a different note, I stopped studying Korean so I should really start again... like today. I shouldn't go there knowing nothing! Wish me luck!
