hellloo everyone!


Had a nice early start this morning got up at 8 and walked around a bit til we realized that there was nothing good around our guest house..... So we got the lady at the front desk to write in thai where we wanted to go ( koh san road) we get there and there are thousands of shops and I cant wait to come back at the end of our trip to spend all my money on clothes! KY dont bring anything buy it all here! after walking around for 2 hours or so i started to feel pretty sick from the heat or the time difference or the lack of food that i am eating because at this point i refuse to eat anything thai... so we decided to head back to the hostel only to realize that we never got the lady to write it down in thai and we didnt know any of the roads or where it was the only thing we knew was that it was called the KT guest house! uh oh! asked about 4 cab drivers and no one knew what we were talking about so i came up with the idea to go to the internet to print out the address.. i can be smart sometimes! the first driver tried to charge us 400 baht for a 150 B ride so i said no and he kicked us out! finally found a driver who took us back for 170 B ( this is like a little over 3 american $) amazing. JESS if you hate my driving never come here.. they drive fast and crazier then people drive in the city.... our driver kept reading a newspaper while he was driving. got back and slept the rest of the day and met with the rest of the volunteers for dinner. we went to this awesome place that had 100s of food booths , a live band , and lots of beer they actually put a keg type thing of beer on your table.... my best bet is to say i am vegetarian cause so far all the meat here is grossing me out so i h ad rice and vegetables for dinner and it was delicious! the girls are cool 4 english 2 australians only 2 of the girls coming to our project.... highlight of my night... the live band singing my favorite fergie song in thai.... it was awesome. tried for almost 40 minutes to get a cab back here but noone would take us so 9 of us squeezed into tongs car and he drove us back.... breakfast at 9 am orientation at 10 then the over night bus leaves at 530... i think we are on the party bus cause tong kept saying party party we drink beer and dance the whole way! so should be interesting..... a bit tired at the moment so im going to go to try and get some sleep..... dont know when i will write next probably not for a few days.
