The last two days have gone fast. Although we spent 17 hours in the air, it seems we haven't had much time to update the blog. Sorry. We left Burlington around 6:30 to Pearson International Airport and stayed the night in a shuttle hotel called the Monte Carlo. In the morning, at around 4:50 we were called to say that there was no 6:00 shuttle and that we had to go on the 5:00 shuttle. We frantically packed and hurried ourselves while Griffin was still in the shower. It wasn't until we were about to leave when we got a call saying that there was a shuttle at 6:00 and that they had made a mistake. At that point we took a sec to relax. We got on the shuttle and got to the airport with multiple other families. Quick to depart, we left and went to receive our boarding passes. It wasn't until we got into line when Griffin realized he had left his carry-on in the shuttle. Eager to get out of the crowds, Melanie stepped up to call and to meet and tip the driver. After all that drama, we boarded the plane and headed south-western to San Francisco. In San Francisco, we travelled using the BART trams and had a nice bayside lunch before heading back to the airport for the 12 hour ordeal that was ahead of us.
