We all met at the caravan park at 8.30, after a night out at the light show.
The Billingham's, Le Lievre's, and the Kelly's headed off to go to Port Augusta via Wilpena Pound and met up with the rest of the group late this afternoon.
While we were there we did a lovely walk to Wangara lookout and Hills homestead. It would have been a much more relaxing time if we hadn't thought while we were 3kms from the car that Craig had left his insulin in the fridge back in Peterborough. Craig and Sue hot footed it back to check and luckily didn't have to head off back to Peterborough!! :)
At Orroroo they have a giant Red Gum which is believed to be over 500 years old. It takes about 8 people holding hands to go round it.
The Clouts did Magnetic Hill. They actually rolled uphill while in neutral!
The Hattons, Rainbird's, Harrison's, Holgates and Clouts had a relaxing afternoon in Port Augusta.
The Port Augusta Vehicle Restorers Club hosted us all for dinner where we had a lovely dinner at their club rooms.
Slightly warmer today which is promising for our trip north.
