A rest day and a drive out a few kms to the Psyche Bend Pump station. The boys were in their element on the tour with Peter (the president of management committee), who talked about the history and restoration of the station. Relaxing day where people did their own thing, some went to Wentworth and others hit the shops. A fantastic dinner at the Mildura Vintage Vehicles Club rooms. Our last team member arrived around 9pm last night and we are all set to move on. An early, frosty start for some. The older your car, the earlier you need to leave. We all met up for morning tea and planned our lunch stop. The panel beaters and painters in the group (Ian and Craig) stopped at Balranald Panel to catch up with some ex students and check out some pretty nice restorations. Well, we have made it to our first night accommodation at Hay. The Hay Vintage and Veteran Motor Cycle and Car Club have hosted us to a great night at the Hay Services Club. There have only been minor hiccups and everything is going well. We had a beautiful breakfast at the WAGGA club rooms and then headed off with a farewell from the mayor and friends of the club. We probably were on Prime news tonight, but I am posting this long after it would have been on....
