Hello heres an update on what weve been upto. After flory we traveled on an 18 hour bus journey to Iguarzu, We origianally planned to stay for just a couple of days but ended extending the visit for another 2nights as alex and tom were finding it difficult to work up the energy to get up before 1:00 to have a decent time at the falls . The hostel we stayed in was absolutly amazing (it was more like a holiday resort than a hostel) and also the cheapest place we´d stayed on the trip as it was on the argentinian side. The hostel was equiped with pool, tv and pool tabels.

The falls (when we finaly made it) were absolutly stunning, as you can probably see from the photos. when we were there we got on a train that took us to a 2000km walk way over the river that took us right to the mouth of the falls . After that little trip we then took a lower walk way which allowed us to get a really good look at the falls.

It was on the lower walk way that alex showed us the "perfect manover for avioding snake bites" jump high and scream like a girl . Since that weve seen slighly adapted versions of this manouver on a couple of occasions.

To finish of the visit to the falls we took a Rib into the falls it´s self, got completly soaked, then we had a burn down the river over some rapids and got to see the full potential of the twin 200hp engines on the back, followed by the worst jungle tour that has ever existed. trough the surrouing rain forest . we ended up with a detailed explanation of heart of palm in 4 diffent languages.

That night back at the hostel was when I had a slight accident splitting my chin open on the stone tiled floor, id explain how i did it but you´ll need to personally take the trouble to email me for that embarassing bit of info.

Just to make shore my highly populated medical family dont worry, Ive had my tetenas jab and i made shore that the needle was sterile and was open infront of me . I also met a german surgen back at the hostel who said that all seemed to be well.

Next morning we had another 18 hour bus journey to Buenos Aires , this time we paid the extra 2pounds for Super cama -first class bus. We had 18 hours of luxury-i think that journey was the best ive slept on the whole trip , we were even offed champagne.
