So today is the 1st of December 2014, I officially have 30 days before I land in Sydney Australia.

I am 25 year old female, with an ambition to see the world. My friends and family would probably describe me as a bit of a loose cannon, they wouldn't be that far off.

My journey of 4 years will take me to the best part of 15 countries. Bearing in mind flights and other arrangements are yet to be sorted.

Australia - New Zealand - Indonesia - Philippines - Cambodia - Vietnam - Thailand - India - China - Russia - South Africa - Brazil - Caribbean Islands - Mexico - United States - Canada.

This may be a bad time to mention that I only have 5K saved. But I plan to work where I can either bar, farm or boat. I have a working visa for Aus and I plan to volunteer in USA and to apply for a working visa in Canada.

So after my plan has been drawn up, my good friend is wanting to do a bit of a Europe road trip this January.

Budapest - Austria - Germany - Italy - Romania

Of course I could not simply let her go alone so I have agreed to come back for 2 weeks and visit these countries that I have wanted to see.

I have spoken to work colleagues, and it was kind of seen as stupid because I will already be in Aus and it will take the best part of a day to travel back - Its called a travelling trip because that is exactly what I intend to do - HELLO!! I have 4 years to do whatever I wish to do and yeah I think doing a road trip with my best friend sounds freakin awesome! She is also visiting Aus in October and im visiting her and her family in Thailand in February.

Due to this trip fast approaching my dreams seem to be all over the place. I've dreamt of leaving my GoPros at home, tidal waves approaching me on the beach and sharks getting a little too close for comfort. I think deep down I am scared but raring to go, I just can't wait to jump into the unknown. Im excited!
