Hey sissy! So good to hear things are going well! Especially that your host fam is so cool and relaxed. Def a blessing as you know it can put a damper on the trip if they're not cool! Well, Im at Cabrillo taking an Illustrator class, Photoshop class, Art Hist, and a 3D design class(bassically sculpture!). Its been awesome so far, I love them all, esp the 3D class! Ill try to take pics of what Ive been doing and send them to you! Pray that I can stay on top of all the classes. Its hard now that Im back home with so many friends to hang out with and the hot sunny weather lately! Makes me want to go to the beach instead of study! So I should prob start my homeworks! Miss you sooo much! Oh, mom and I will try to clean out your room soon, if there is stuff I want to use when you're gone(clothes, ect) is that OK? Well, got to go love you and praying, Roni

I've been praying for Jordan and yesterday I got to talk to him.
Ed Hartwell is the first string middle linebacker and he's had surgery on his knees which means Jordan will play his first string position for two to six weeks. He's both excited and anxious. It's a lot of pressure. He's asked for prayer.
There's a man whose lived in Mt. Hermon for 40 years. I've know him since I moved here 28 years ago. We've often talked about hot rods and fast cars. He has several hot rods and recently built a Bonneville salt flat speed car. Two weeks ago he set a world record at Bonneville speed trials. I got to see his car and enjoyed talking to him about his hot rods. It was a blast for me.
I've been busy at work and am still enjoying what I do. Pray for me. I've been involved in helping people avoid divorce, drug addiction, and all sorts of other problems. I know I get spritually attacked when I get involved like this, but It sure is exciting to see God work in peoples lives. I'm just the messenger/coach, He does the work of changing them. Well, I need to run off to my first appointment, so TAH, TAH FOR NOW!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I just figured out that I had a message board! Thank you for mailing the cord! My host family is nice. They are talkative and kind, but they let us do what we want. As long as we are in the house by dinner(10PM) they don´t worry and if we want to go somewhere else we only have to tell them not to expect us at dinner. It is so much more free and independant than when I was in Madrid. I love it! Our room is on the top floor - almost 40 stairs up! If we want we can just come home and go to our rooms to study or relax, but we can also stay in the living room to socialize ect. Last night we all watched the Spanish equivalent of Americas Next Top Model. It was fun to do something with the family. I have to go-more later:)

Today, I took the longest ride on Delilah -- up to the top of the ridge where I could see the coast. It was great!
School (Cabrillo) has started, and I am in a JavaScript class.
Play School is starting and I have lots to do there.
Harmony Ensemble has a job this Sat. and one in 2 weeks at the Mountain Winery where they be concerts, really a high end wedding place.
Yeah, life is busy here, we still have not put away your things. Roni thinks she will try to stay in her room, so that means that I may try to make your room our office for this year.

Hey, I must have sent this wrong, so here goes again!!!! We mailed the cord this AM. The postmaster at Mt. Hermon said it should arrive in one week and we inslured it, so the post office will replace if it is lost. Keep in touch, love, Dad

Hey girl! How the heck are you? How's school, the house, meals, your new roommate, bus commute, classmates etc. ? It's Tuesday the 29th and I'm going down to mail your charger cord and don't you worry about the money. It will be our gift to you!!!
Don't be too hard on yourself. You worked very hard to prepare for this trip and remember your not perfect, even if you wished you were. That's where God fits in, He is perfect and wants us to depend on Him. If we were perfect, we wouldn't even need Him. I too have a little perfectionist living in me that wants to do it all right, but I've had to shut him up many times. The older I get and the more I've learned to depend on God, the more I've found out how much God love me. He's promised never to abandon nor forsake us and He has answered every time I ask in prayer. I may not always like the answer, but He know's what is best for me. Well, I guess this is beginning to sound like a sermon, so I'll close for now. I love you so much.
