Singapore
The world is my school today my classroom is in Singapore.
Now we are at Singapore, which is a crazy city with lots of fun stuff to do. First stop, Rosie Meets World got some surgery done while we were in the most hygienic place on earth, Singapore - the "no gum" state. She got her adenoids taken out. I feel so happy yet so sad for her because it must have been at least a little painful though she was put under during the surgery. She now can breath 10 times easier and no more snoring! The hospital was very nice and they had a great room for us to stay in while she was getting her surgery and while she was recovering. We were going to stay overnight but around 10:00PM Rosie decided she wanted to go home instead. When we got home she went to bed and we were all looking forward to the fact that Dad was coming home in 2 hours!
Captain O also got an operation done; she got her nose cauterized so it would stop bleeding. She said it was very painful. She had chemicals put in to her nose to seal it up. Ouch!
Of course after throat surgery and a nose cauterization you've got to have some yummy ice cream!
Cold Stone is the only ice cream shop we went to because it was right around the corner from our apartment and had a smell that attracted us like a mosquito to blood. When you are waiting in line you feel like you want to dance and it is amazing when you order. I always get the birthday cake remix, which is birthday cake batter ice cream, with rainbow sprinkles, brownie and fudge! I love how they make it too because what they do is they scoop up the type of ice cream (for instance birthday cake batter ice-cream) and then they mix in the brownie, fudge, Reeses, M&M's, Oreo's, and many more! It is soooooooooo good!
The Ice Cream is super yummy but this place also has roller coasters.
Universal Studios! Here there are many rides like, a Transformer one where you are watching a screen that makes you feel like you are moving and in battle but also your car is actually moving! The whole family agreed it was the best theme park ride we had ever been on. There is also a Jurassic Park ride where you get wet. In this ride you are in a round boat with everyone facing the middle floating with the current of the water, when all of the sudden… BAM! A dinosaur jumps out at you like you are actually in the movie! My favorite part in this one is when the whole raft goes up an elevator kind of thing and when you look up there's a lifesize T-Rex staring back. Everyone thought a sudden drop down was next but instead we get pushed out a door, down a hill onto a giant log floom! I got to go down backwards, that is one of my favorite rides!
After those crazy coasters, it's time to chillax at the beach!
We now go back to where Universal Studios was, Sentosa. This time we went to Sentosa Beach to find ourselves learning how to surf! First we went in the water and went for a swim, then we went to eat lunch and in the middle of ordering me, Rosie, Captain O and two friends get pulled away to go sign up for boogie boarding and an attempt to surf. I start off with boogie boarding which is so awesome because you are not on the beach you are on a machine that sprays water out and you go against it like you are on a wave. Boogie boarding was awesome but I am not so excited to get on a thing that looks like a skateboard without wheels. I try anyway and start by holding onto a rope and stay near the edge then I back up, let go of the rope, and find myself falling over and crashing into the back wall. That's what happens when everyone falls over. The water is spraying so hard you go flying back and hit a foam wall. It is so fun!
We also go to Gardens by the Bay, which are two Green houses and different small parks full of pretty flowers and trees. One of the Green houses had only flowers and some fruits, which would grow on hills and in grass, maybe in your back garden. There are many beautiful flowers in here. The other one shows plants that would grow on a mountain so in here they have a giant waterfall, rocks and minerals and of course the plants. My favorite thing to do in both green houses was go on this bridge, which went around the mountain and waterfall in the one with the plants that grow on mountains. Last but not least we went to the bridge across two giant (fake) trees! Then we tried to eat in restaurant that was in a giant tree but it was too fancy so we went to a noodle restaurant. Once we finished eating a light show on the giant tree s started and when that started lightning also headed our way. We watched a little bit of it then skedaddled so the lightning didn't fry us.
Singapore is awesome I definitely want to go back!

Aunt DeeAnn Hi Bell -- Boy, it sounds like Singapore is so much fun. You all deserve to have a blast after all of the time you logged in the hospital. I'm glad that O and V are both doing well (we were so worried) -- and I'm glad that Singapore was on your agenda! I'm going to let your cousins know that you are all ready to hit the surf this summer:) Love and miss you XO
