It´s taken us a while but we´ve finally set up a blog page. We´re not the most computer literate people in the world so it´s taken us sometime to work out!

We won´t bore you with the detail of the past 5 weeks, but so far we´ve been to Buenos Aires, flew to easter island (saw big stone heads), flew to Santiago, headed down to Chilean Lake district on a bus, crossed over to Argentina, saw a glacier, went to the bottom of the world, headed back up north to see a waterfall, caught another bus to Brazil and now here we are in Rio de Janeiro.

Its carnival week this week so its very busy and expensive, we plan to head to a smaller town (not sure where yet) for the main 2 days as we can´t get a room here and its far too expensive in Rio!

Rio is a great place.We went to the Copacobana yesterday and hopefully are going to watch a football match tomorrow night.

We saw the Christ the Redeemer statue too, which was much smaller than we thought it would be! For some reason, we thought it would be huge, the pictures we´d seen before had decieved us!
