The whole trip sounds wonderful. But we all deserve to know how much commission you are on from the new zealand tourist board?

Loved the beach pictures looked and no doubt felt fantastic. Mike in the bath - hopefully Harriet was just shy and hiding behind the curtain and also enjoying the wine/champagne! Thank you so much for inviting me to join your explorations. Sorry for you too that your journey is at an end but here's to your next adventure.Take care. Vx
Vivien
Hiya both, pictures look wonderful, even better when you experience it I bet. Thought I'd lost you as the web address disappeared in your link just asked click on www:// - didn't get me far but I'm a sucker for a challenge and sneaked past the unsubscribe login to access the pictures. Mum and Dad send their regards and are glad it's you tackling the giant weeds and rats, Dad says dandelions and mice on his allotment are about all he can manage at the moment LOL. Your pictures have given my Sarah some food for thought about thier next holiday destination so keep them coming - shame you can't add anecdote bubbles such as ' how long have I got to pose for, take the picture and let's get on' or is it all patience and smiles! Mind you I expect there's no clock watching at all where you are, except perhaps for food time. Have fun, won't say be good - life's too short so just enjoy each other and your time together. Vx
El Presidente Dm
El Presidente DM here again. Loved your description of the wetlands. Think you may have got the wrong definition of those "big rats", they are not as you mused local to the area but are in fact Liverpool supporters on holiday. Lots happening here in Cheshire & Warrington. You can be reassured that counting staff will not be an issue for you when you return the Americas......there are so few left to count I can manage it using fingers and toes....and you know how few of them I have. Whilst away Gordon Brown has reduced your tax, increased your tax, added extra tax from your NI contribution but made life easier if someone you know dies and leaves you pots of dosh.....not to mention added tax to your 4 x 4 transport costs....and all in one speech !! Enjoy the seaside.

Hola amigos
What an epic journey! wellie loose and fancy free, of course not. It's really interesting to have a glimpse of a different life, a different world. Photos are wonderful. Confess, my heart sank at "Harriet doing her washing" and worse, Mike sleeping. Not a pretty sight. And now, "beloved Buenos Airies." Fantastico! A photo of the steak Harriet, you know what I mean?
Adios, besos, besos

Hiya both, glad you're back in touch and verything going ok. I've got a couple of weeks off and planned to tackle the extra long grass and big weeds but looking at the photo of Harriet standing next to that huge plant mine now look wimpy in comparison! Sun shining but doubt I'll get as brown as you both. Take care, I presume this is nearing the end of your exploits but enjoy it right to the end and keep in touch. Thanks once agin for sharing. V x
El Presidente Dm
El Presidente DM : Felt I had to comment after reading in your Blog that you "revitalised an organic garden"....the mind boggles and I think we need to know how you achieved this but dont bother if it includes a report on the differing toilet habits of the locals. Im also intrigued.....what is a "Minga" ? It seems you are not missing Emmerdale after all, which is good if hard to understand. However, I do emphasise with you both about the subject of stomachs and bumpy roads, sounds like a bad day on the M6. I read your list of achievements with admiration and I must say a tinge of shame. Here I am thinking Ive done a good deed by not throwing away the charity clothes bag pushed through my door and there you are planting tress for the next generation. Have a great rest in Argentina and a safe journey home back to blighty. Mark

Waiting for more updates, your exploits so far are a great read, and great to see - hope you are both keeping well throughout your travels. The windows to the world are fascinating and I'm so glad you gave me and mine the opportunity to share them with you. Make the most of your time and experiences, doubt anything will match it again and from others' messages I'm sure you don't miss TV at all! Most of us only turn it on as some form of escapism - and hey ............... you escaped. Love to both - V x
