Another early hungover start.
We hopped onto the slow boat after being told it was take approximately 2 and a half hours, however one main rule of travelling is always add a very extra hours onto what any one tells you so 4 hours later we finally hopped off. Worse boat journey ever, choppy waves and a hangover do not go well together!

However KOH RONG IS BY FAR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLAND WE HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! White sands and the clearest water, it's absolutely amazing. It's also very chilled and very peaceful. We are staying in 'monkey island' which is a beach hut right on the beach front. It's amazing sitting in the hammock just watching the waves wash up on the shore. In all honesty I don't think the pictures portray how pretty the beach is at all.

One downside to our hut is the lack of flushing toilets and no electrical points at all. Therefore to charge your phone you have to leave it at reception. You can only use the lights in your hut between 6pm and 12pm and there is also an 11pm curfew.
