First thing in the morning we got picked up from the other nasty hotel and got dropped off at the Hong Ngoc Dynastie hotel for the final breakfast with the group. We all said goodbye, as different groups of people were leaving at different times throughout the day.
Since I had booked a night at the Dynastie hotel (because I assumed I would be there the night of the 13th) I had to check in, my room wasn't ready but I asked if I could stay at the Dynastie hotel instead of the Tonkin (the nasty one) until the 17th. Thankfully, they said that it would be possible.. which is a relief since I wouldn't be comfortable or be able to relax at the Tonkin hotel. Ah
After breakfast and sorting out my rooming situation, I went out with a group of girls; as their flight was not until 2pm. We went to check out a market in Hanoi; although, it was really odd.. there weren't any tourists there and lots of people were buying in bulk, so we assumed locals came to the market to buy things for their street shops. After that we went back to the hotel to relax and watch a bit of television until the girls had to check out of their room. Then we went for lunch, and then shortly after we finished, it was time for them to go.
I am now in the room, and got a fruit plate (that was free) delivered to me. The room is nice and I probably won't be doing much for the next few days. I am going to try some vietnamese iced coffee during the little break though. Just going to try and relax.
The fact that the tour is over has finally set in after the one group of girls left. There are still 5 other people at the hotel tonight, that are leaving early tomorrow morning but feeling a bit lonely that the group is no longer together.
But, in three more days I will be in a new group, on a new adventure.

Painter Good hear you're in a decent hotel and no longer pursuing your part time exterminator Job. Much safer too. It seems you made a few friends in your tour which is good as you might see th again some day. Or maybe one of them will invite you to visit them. Enjoy the next few boring days of nothing to do. It will be over quickly and then you'll be on the run again. Casper says Meow!
