It's now sadly come to the end of my time in Koh Tao, 2 weeks have been and gone, i don't know where mind you, it went that fast! But i can safely say that even though it was the shortest 2 weeks of my life it was also the sweetest!
Once again i found myself surrounded by brilliant people, who i immediatley clicked with straight away. The place, the atmosphere, the people and of course the diving has made my time in Koh tao what it was and i can't wait for the reunion next summer!!!
Firstly i need to apologise for the lack of diving photos! It pobably looks like we did more partying then we did diving which isn't totally true ( it was half and half really!) but i have got a dvd of some underwater footage of me diving which i will be sending home soon for you all to see! The diving was incredible. The tao in Koh Tao actually stands for tutles as the island used to be a nesting ground for thousands of turtles, and they are still about but sadly no longer in there masses, they've moved onto another island. However, i was lucky enough to see one when i was diving which was really exciting. It swam quite close to me, checked me out and then swam up and over the coral, it was amazing! When i got back and told everyone they were so jealous, some people had been there for 6 months and hadn't seen one! So i was very lucky, but envied by everyone in the dive school who didn't see it!
Unfortuently i didn't encounter any whale sharks despite one being sited whilst i was there. I did talk so someone who did and she said it was awsome. obviously!
