Day 4 Las Vegas
A late start today due to a late finish last night. Wandered down the Strip, cruising in and out of several casinos on the way. Had many "time warps" to various cities/countries around the world - Venice, Rome, France as many Casinos were themed.
Enjoyed gelato ice creams as it was another hot day - 34 deg C. Collected the Cirque du Soleil show tickets "Love" themed to the Beatles music from the Mirage Casino booked in at 7.00 pm tonight. Wandered on down further and enjoyed the spectacular Bellagio fountains.
Hopped across the road to Paris Casino where we caught a taxi back to the hotel. Cooled off in the pool before heading on back down for the show.
What a fabulous Cirque du Soleil show! The lighting, sound (including dual speakers in every ones seats) and total arrangement of the whole show was totally faultless. A big attendance for the show which at one stage were nearly all covered over by one giant silken sheet. Returned to the Strip, streaming with crowds - still a warm 30 deg C at 9.00pm and wandered back down to enjoy the Bellagio fountains at night time - more impressive at night with the lighting. Ambled back to the hotel and had a quick flitter on the slot machines, very quickly donating our money to the Casino. Another long day here. 1.00 am in the morning so time to sign out. Still no luck in uploading pics to the blog site.
