Hello everyone, Can you believe it we are in sunny, sunny Florida, actually we are staying 10 mins from Daytona Beach, with some friends, bathing in their pool, at the weekend we are off to a Lake House, then celebrating July 4th Independence Day,on millionaires row. Next weekend we are going to their condo in Melbourne about 2 hrs south of Daytona and from there Chris and I are renting a car, after all this time after not having our own transport we have had a break through. We are hoping to maybe drive down to the Everglades National Park, now that is gonna be a chance of a life time.Our trip has really taken us in a different direction and coming to Florida never seemed an option but $214 / 107 pounds 12 hours of travel later and we arrived in this amazing place. The beaches are really clean, not many people on them at all and the water is luke warm. There is so much to do here , i have spent the last 3 days deciding where to sit, in the pool, in the jacuzzi, on the beach, in the airconed lounge, oh the choice is endless, what a hard life for a couple of scummy, smelly backpackers. We seemed to arrived here at the right time, we are going to see the Rocket Launch from Kennedy Space Center on the beach. Chris is currently wearing a Daytona Beach vest top, beer in hand, sunnies in his head ready for the Friday night BBQ. I had an hour's massage today it was incredible, much needed after hoisting that ruck sack around for 8 weeks. So we really have landed on our feet and are having a great time, the people are lovely and the wheather is glorious. Lots of exciting times ahead.
