Finally getting around to updating you all on where we are and what's been happening. It is 12 days since we left Shetland and we've already experienced a lot!

We travelled down through the UK, stopping off in Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Edinburgh and London. From there we got the Eurostar to Paris at crazy o'clock in the morning arriving in Paris at 9am.

For our first 2 days in Paris we stayed in the suburbs in a place called Chelles, which was nice but really hard to get taxis! So we soon sussed the metro or RER system or just walked using our very good (most of the time!) mapping skills!

Disney Land = AWESOME! So many rollercoasters and characters! Was such an amazing day... I got to see Mini Mouse and all the disney princesses and sing along to the songs!! (Wills was singing along too!) Loved all the big rides, went on Space Mountain 3 times and even managed to get a sneaky wee finger moustache in to one of the ride photo's!

The next 2 days we spent exploring Paris: Explored Montremarte and climbed to the top of the Sacre Coeur, tried Snails in a Restaurant where the waiters were not so pleasant, watched the artists create masterpieces in the artists square, went to the Tour de Eifell and got the lift right to the top at night time which was beautifully awesome! Walked through the Catacombes, one of the under ground cemeteries - quite creepy with walls of skulls and bones. We took a free tour of the main attractions in the centre of Paris and found out a bit of history of Paris. Ended up in a French Restaurant, serving very french food (we were told) Wills had a ham and cheese toastie, with French cheese and ham of course!

Now in the centre of Amsterdam.. it's CRAZY! Even though it's not the summer season there are tonnes of people here it's madness. You have to watch out for the bikes not the cars here! Had a few near death by bike experiences. Went out last night for a meal and a few drinks.. wandered the streets and took in the different sights and smells.. hmmmmmmmm i wonder what that could be!?

Staying in a hostel, which ended up being quite expensive (booking last minute) So we thought it would be quite grand... not so much! Seems the cheaper hostels are the better! Heading off on a tour of Amsterdam today, unsure of what we will see or learn.

Plan from here is, Berlin to Prague to Vienna and we'll see where we end up after that...
