Hello all,
It's been a while since the last update. But after all this planning and studying it's finally time for me to go the Yankees tomorrow!! Last week I've been to Oslo, Norway for a week just because I could! Great fun but now I am looking forward to go to the US and travel from East to West by the train and finally start the flight training! The weather looks great, 21 C in New York and Chicago, 35 C in El Cajon pfffff, suburb of San Diego where I'll be staying. I'm all set to go! At least if American Airlines works with me a little. I read that they have are under bankruptcy protection so they are cutting costs and the employee strike and are destroying the company from the inside out if you ask me, but anyways I've to deal with the consequences. I just hope they stay in business for 1 more day and bring me to New York! (The way back I'm flying with Air New Zealand)
I got a few emails from people who are also going to go to AAA for their flight training. A few of them I'm probably going to meet as they start when I'm there! Glad to see that the blog brings me in to contact with them. For a friend I also put together a pretty straight forward guide to what flying as a private pilot is like and what one has to know to become one. That'll be a separate post on the blog after this one.
The Aquila a210 should be arriving in Lelystad very shortly. I'll probably be in the US when that happens but she will be ready for me in January.
So I will see ya'll when I'm in the US surfing come couches before arriving at my new city for a month and a half. Greetings from the UK!
