Once i arrived in chiang mai me and the guys from holland went are seperate ways as we were staying in differant hotels. When i arrived at mine i had the jungle trek meeting for the trek i was going on the next day so we new exactly what we needed to bring so i got an early night before the 3 day trek. The first thing after we all met up in the morning was to get some supplys from a local market for the journy the first activity was bamboo rafting. Me and two south african guys was on one and we went first we took it in turns to stear at the back i was the only one to fall off. We ended up having a massive water fight with every one on the differrant rafts as we raced down the river till we stop of at a point were we could clime the rocks and jump in what was a good end to the rafting. So once we help the guides take apart the rafts a load them on a truk we made are way to lunch before we started the long trek up the mountin what took us about 4 hours and we stop of at a water fall for a bit to rest and a swim. Once we made it up to the karen village 500 meters from are starting point we sat down to a local dinner with the village and i got an early night as the clime was tiring and i didnt feel 100% still from sukhothai. The next day after break fast the group split in two as 4 people only did a 2 day trek and the rest did 3 days luckly this day was alot easyer as it was mainly down hill we stop of for lounch by a little water fall were they used it to keep the drinks cold ith a bamboo water system. After lounch we finish the trek to the water fall camp what was definatly worth it and we all jumped in and called of in the water fall and pool before sitting down and having dinner and singing songs around the fire and a well earned drink as it was alot colder by the water fall we had to rap up warm at night. The next day we all made are way back down the mountin to civilisation but on the way we stop off at one more water fall for a morning bath and you could use it as a slide as well. So once we made it to the bottom we got picked up from a farm and made are way to a reasrant for lounch before we headed of to the elephant camp were we road an elephant for half an hour around the jungle what was a totaly differant expiriance to ayutthaya as we went up and down hills so if you were coming down you had to hold on or you would fall off so that was it after that we all cilled out in the back of the truk on the way back to are hotels were i planned my trip down to phuket. The next day i met up with kajsa a swedish girl who was on the trek with me as we were both going the same way so we spent the day together and explored the city before we cought the night bus to bangkok.
