Hi everyone,
We've just arrived at Coral Bay after our 3 day tour up the west coast where we saw loads of cool stuff!
First stop was the Pinnacles, strange rocks that protrude from the ground, then we stopped off at dynamite bay for lunch and then stayed over at kalbarri. Had an ozzy meal that night with the group at a local restaurant. The food was good, not sure about the bugs though- there was this flying cockroach thing that kept flying around us!
Next day we clambered down into the Z bend gorges and then climbed back up again. It was so hot, and it was only 10am! Then we took a short walk to natures window- basically a rock with a big hole in it. We also saw the stromatolites which are one of the earliest living things on earth, they are basically rocks under on the coast that creat bubbles and stuff. We then stopped off at nanga bay for a much needed swim, where a seasnake swam right next to us all and we didn't realise til afterwards. That night we stayed over at Denham.
The next day we headed to Monkey Mia where we saw the dolphins up close on the beach. We also went on a boat trip and saw more dolphins and 2 dugongs (sea cows). Ocean Park was the next stop where they look after sick/ injured sea life and then release them back into the wild. We saw lots of fish, cute little turtles (that apparently would bite your fingers if you got too close!), sting rays, shovel nosed sharks and reef sharks. That evening we arrived in Coral Bay and met up with our friend Damo who we met last time we were in coral bay.
Hope you're all well x x x x x x x
