If there is a paradise, I think im there. Hvar is fantastic.... Day 3 here for me, and Im still completely blown away by it. Each morning, I head to the local food markets, where I can by sheep or goats cheese, sweet tomatoes and fresh bread, all very cheap. It's a very relaxing place, with lots of swimming, eating and siestas going on. I found the local hang out bar, called Carpe Diem. The place is probably the coolest bar i've been to. Tasty beverages too... I found myself being served by the manager at the bar last night, so I threw out the question of possible work in a month or so. He said they didnt really need someone, but he could put me in touch with some private yacht owners that need staff. I think there is worse work out there! I will definitely check it out sooner rather than later, as funds are heading south... I'm sure I could spend a fair block of time here. after 3 days, I feel healthy, charged and happy. The water is crystal clear, and the only thing keeping it from perfection is the bottom that is littered with sea urchins... I think the photos will speak for themselves. If I wasnt going to meet Mario, I think I would already be signing up to staff a private yacht. Basiaclly worked out my ferries to Athens now, and will stop in Corfu for a night to break up the trip. Ive got to go now though, the beach is calling me...
